History of the Directorate
The Directorate of Quality Assurance and Linkages was created in November 2016 as part of the commitment of the University administration in positioning the University to foster the growth of knowledge for the advancement of society. The Directorate which is under the Vice Chancellor's office was created to ensure best practices, provide quality control measures in the institutions delivery and conduct, and to open up channels for International exchange programmes and avenues for possible collaborations in Research and Teaching. The first Director was Prof. Oyaziwo Aluede, MNAE, of the Department of Guidance and Counselling (School Counselling) and former visiting Assistant Scientist, Florida International University, Miami USA. The current Ag. Director, Dr. O.M Iniaghe of the Department of Biochemistry assumed duty as Ag. Director on September, 2019.
